Our Christmas Tree

This is our little 2 foot Christmas tree. We decorated it with mini glass balls and transformers ornaments. We plan on cutting the top branch much shorter and I am trying to think of a way for the boys to make a tree topper for it. If you have any ideas let me know.

Decorating a "Gingerbread" House

Sunset Beach

Here are some pictures from our first trip to a beach here on Okinawa. I couldn't believe how clear the water was. I was 38 weeks and 3 days in these pictures. The boys have enjoyed being here and we have been to a total of 4 beaches now but I haven't gotten the rest of the pictures loaded on the computer yet. We are going to an Aquarium tomorrow and possible a zoo within the next couple of days. I will post more when I get the pictures uploaded from those things.

Okinawa Japan

For those of you that don't know we are in Okinawa Japan right now. I found out the week before thanksgiving that I would have to come down to Okinawa to Camp Lester(Navy Base) to have a VBAC(vaginal birth after cesarean) again. We are going to be down here until 8 days after Kaelyn is born because in Japan newborns are not allowed to fly until they are atleast 8 days old. We plan on being down here until just after Christmas since my due date is not until Dec 18 and I have never gone before my due date. We were able to all come down here together on Monday, Nov 30. On our flight from Tokyo to Okinawa we flew on a 747 double decker plane, a first for both Noah and I and of course the boys. We thought it was pretty neat and so I took a couple pictures of it.

Blake & Kohler Disease

Blake was recently diagnosed with Kohler Disease. If you want to see a picture of what his bones look like then go here and click on the x-ray picture on the left, his bone looks a lot like the one in the right foot in that picture. Anyway the way they treat this is by casting the foot so that it may rest and heal on it's own. He will be wearing the cast for a month and then they will take the cast off and x-ray it again and see how it is doing and if it is healing or if it needs longer to heal. If it needs longer to heal they will re-do the cast and he will wear it for about another month and then we will do the whole process again. He keeps asking us when are we going to go to the doctor to have it taken off, I feel really bad that he has to have this going on but am glad that we know why he was limping around and telling us his foot hurt. Here are some pictures of his cast.

This is what we do to his cast when it is bath time so that it doesn't get wet. We cover it in plastic wrap and then we cover the plastic wrap with packing tape. It seems to work pretty good, however he does not like it at all cause he hates having the tape on his skin.
