Noah's Promotion Ceremony

Noah is promoting this Sunday and his promotion ceremony was on Friday. They do this thing called tacking on when you get promoted and what it is, is basically you get punched in the arm on your new stripes. We had the boys do it, so each one got to punch daddy in the arm. They thought it was great! Here are a couple of pics from that event.

We carved pumpkins for FHE tonight!!

Here are some pictures of the boys with their pumpkins and of course we couldn't forget about Kaelyn so the smallest little pumpkin is for her, although it was much too small to carve. I am going to go and try and find some craft paint and let the boys paint their names on the back and to paint Kaelyns brown and pink. This was our first time getting white pumpkins and we have decided that they smell a little sweeter than orange pumpkins.

Fire Prevention Week

To celebrate Fire Prevention Week here our fire department put on a family fun day at the fire station on Saturday and we took the boys. They had so much fun. They were able to go into a smoke house, earthquake simulator, spray several different fire hoses, put on the fire safety suits and were even able to go up in the ladder on the ladder truck.
